Fighting Hunger

In the 1930's the Great Depression began, the film Cinderella Man shows us the lifestyle and struggles through a boxers perspective of James J. Braddock and his family.

Steady income- James fighting his way up to become champ from 1926-1929 before the depression. http://www.jamesjbraddock.com/record/

Depression- Boxing is still a very popular sport during the depression, it was like going to the movies, affordable entertainment. But Braddock enters a fight while not adjusted to the changes of rations, performing unfavorably and causing a tie.

Proving his worthiness- The heads of the boxing commerce decied to not allow james to fight anymore, cause of the embarrassment he caused. But he talks his way back into new hope.

Rise from the ashes- James continues his fighting, giving the public a hope from the depression, as if he was fighting for the people.

Finale- Fights for the championship title, wins the match, and the end.
