Far From A Metling Pot

The students in Jena, Louisiana should commited a hate crime, but what was most disgusting is that they were not given punishment for their actions. My reaction is nonchalant, racism in the United States stands strong, and there will never be a day of no prejudice. This incident and the one in Little Rock, 50 years apart, are similiar in the way that there was not punishment for hate crime. I see prejudice and racism as something callow and very shamefull.
